Lauren and Wade: the real deal

After being married a while, that lovin feelin we had so strongly in the dating years, tends to get squashed with the stresses of job, family and just plain life.  It is easy to get caught up in the every-day routine and forget the butterflies that we had for one another, and rush out the...

Baby Kensie

I love babies.  Love the way they smell, love their teeniess, love the innocence, and even love the way they cry.  That is why I am in constant need of baby fixes.  One of my very good friends just had her first and she is so precious! beautiful!  teeny!  and just plain baby.  My favorite...

Children’s Museum

I LOVE the Children’s museum.  Basically because the exhibits are so amazing and the kids can play for hours.  Big bonus this time I went, 90 people (moms and kids) attended the event from my mom’s group!  Let me tell you, it is the WAY TO GO.  I was able to chat with my friends...

The Sutkowski’s

I was able to photograph this beautiful family in May, but as Mackenna has grown, the photos need replacing!  (See Here for her 6 month photos.)  We toured around Elm Creek Park reserve and Mackenna had us all laughing, racing away from the camera and on to exploring the world around her.  Here are some...

Josh- 2010

Josh is one sweet kid.  He ultra creative, likable, personable and loves the arts.  We had a great time together roaming around the Minneapolis Sculpture Gardens.  Despite the rain, we got some amazing shots!

Josh was open to trying some night shots on the bridge, I love the way they turned out; almost mystical.

One of the...

I heart faces- week 45

Autumn beauty is the theme this week.  In the 20+ shoots that I have done this fall, this engagement photo stuck out to me.  It was on one of those cloudy days that I did not expect to see the sun, and when it appeared the lighting and colors were FABULOUS! It’s days like this...

Jessica and Bryan 10.24.09

I had the wonderful privilege of being a second shooter for my very good friend Kate at Jessica and Bryan’s beautiful fall wedding.  It is always fun for me to be able to look at a couple from a different angle and be able to see some of the details that I would not otherwise...
