They grew up only 10 minutes apart from one another, and ended up attending the same college, but neither Joey nor Bri ever talked to one another. Eventually, mutual friend, introduced them and passed along Bri’s number to Joey. A week later they were on their first date and knew they were destined to be with one another.
After dating for a while, Joey was ready to propose. He had a plan that got derailed at the last minute due to Bri’s families plan. He went with Plan B and brought Bri to his parents house, where they all set up roses, candles, champagne, and music. It was there that he got down on one knee and proposed. Being that both Joey and Bri are very close to their parents, Joey arranged to have both sets of parents come over later that evening to celebrate with them.
Located in the beautiful rolling hills overlooking Whitetail lake, farms, pastures, and beautiful gardens Gail Woods Farm in Minnetrista was a perfect location to host their July wedding. The girls began their day by getting ready at an Airbnb in Eden Prairie where we did a variety of detail shots, including their invitation by MinuteMan Press and beautiful gold leaf earrings purchased at Altar’d state. Bri had a first look with her dad, and then revealed her beautiful Mori Lee dress purchased from the Wedding Shoppe to her bridesmaids.
Bri and Joey did their first look under a beautiful oak tree in the backyard of the property and neither one could stop smiling upon seeing the other. The wedding party then joined us for photos. The bridesmaids were dressed in varied eucalyptus Azazie dresses while the men were dashingly dapper in suits from Men’s Wearhouse in Eden Prairie. Florals of eucalyptus and white roses created by Cindy Allman, matched the romantic feel of the day perfectly. Family then joined us for photos, and guests began arriving for the intimate ceremony overlooking Whitetail lake. Bri and her father walked down the aisle and a beautiful ceremony ensued where the couple exchanged rings from Shane Co., and Manly Bands. After Bri and Joey’s parents prayed over their marriage, they were pronounced husband and wife. They exited with cheers from family and friends and then headed off for a fun champagne pop with their wedding party.
Acapulco Mexican Restaurant provided a tasty meal for guests and cupcakes from Sam’s club hit everyone’s sweet tooth to end the night. The brother of the groom, Dan Chaffin, brought the party to life and kept it going as guests danced the night away. The couple ended their night with a glow stick exit as guests congratulated the happy couple.
Joey and Bri, it was an honor to serve you on your wedding day. Have such a great honeymoon hiking the Rocky Mountains in Estes Park. Congratulations!
