Isaac and Amy: Van Dusen Mansion Wedding

She was headed to lunch; a Mexican restaurant in a small town of Wisconsin.  And he was headed there as well.  Both were a bit nervous as a mutual friend suggested they should get together because they had so many things in common.  Up for an adventure, both agreed as then met in the lobby and made small talk.  Throughout the course of their conversation, Isaac realized he and Amy had a lot in common.  Their love for coffee shops, their sense of humor and their deep faith in God.  They talked the hour away leaving more to be discussed as they started on the relationship that would take them farther than they imagined.

Fast forward to Friday the 13th, Isaac’s birthday.  He had hidden a few gifts around Amy’s apartment for her to find when she arrived home from work.  The two headed out to dinner with some friends, and came home.  At that moment it was time for Ike to open his birthday present.  When he was finished, he looked around and then at Amy with a sly grin…. “You forgot a gift,” he said to her.  He had her look in a closet where she then found a note that said, It’s someplace behind you.” Turning around, Amy found the best gift on one knee with a ring in his hand.

Their wedding day was filled with so much joy and laughter.  The biggest surprise to all their guests was when Amy and her father busted out with a choreographed dance during the father/ daughter dance.  Guests were laughing and cheering with excitement.

It was a beautiful day, and Amy and Ike, thank you for allowing me to capture it for you!  Congratulations and may the Lord continue to shower out His blessings upon you.
