Jenna & Camilo:: Columbia Manor Wedding

She was touring the world by herself.  Independent and free, the natural born swimmer, turned rower, Jenna, found herself in the country of Colombia.  With its beautiful beaches, she had to row in its waters and it was there that she met Camilo, a rowing coach.  Kind and humorous, she fell for him and began seeing him daily.  The two hit off a friendship and eventually began dating.

With a long commute from one end of the city to the other, and unsafe for a woman, the two decided upon a civil marriage.  Wanting to abide by the country’s laws and customs, Camilo and Jenna, in shorts and t-shirts were married in a court house in Columbia.  Their growing friendship later became love and the two moved to the United States.  Always wanting the fall wedding, they decided on a vow renewal/ larger ceremony in October (because legally they were wed in the United States in May).

It was a glorious fall day; the air was crisp and the leaves were at peak.  The vegan food they both love was incredible, as was Jenna’s grandfather’s song in the middle of their ceremony. The couple joked that they were now pushing for one more ceremony, just to complete the four seasons, but in all reality they threw a great party that I was thrilled to be a part of.

Thank you Camilo and Jenna for allowing me into your beautiful day; it was a joy and honor to celebrate with you!
