It is hard to believe that this school year is over. For what has happened in this past school year has been a whirlwind and completely sanctifying for our family. Some milestones:
1) We now have a set routine of wake up and bed-time
2) We live on the edges of the country, and we actually like it!
3) I no longer have any kid in diapers.
4) All three of my kids have given up naps completely.
5) The neighborhood kids have invaded my life, and I love it!
6) Next fall I will have only one child left at home, what will I do with all my free time?!
7) We have grown closer to our church family in distance and in sharing our lives with them.
8 ) The tooth fairy has visited the house 7 times.
9) Lydia went from recognizing letters to reading chapter books (and is now on the mission to get an American Girl doll, oh help!)
10) I see how God is continually making changes in my life and pushing me to the next level.
I can’t wait to see what He does next school year, but for today, we welcome summer and a soon to be second grader, kindergartener and pre-schooler!
