Brooke & Sam:: The Commons Hotel Wedding

They gathered together for a combined Christmas dinner with their families.  While waiting for dinner, Sam and Brooke decided to exchange gifts alone.  Brooke slowly opened a a handmade photos album containing photos of her and Sam from the past two years of their relationship.  When turning to the last page and closing the book, Brooke leaned over to give Sam a hug when he announced that there was yet another gift in the back of the book.  Brooke turned the pages quickly to find an amazing sparking ring hanging from a ribbon. Stunned, Brooke sat down while Sam got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.  With tears in her eyes, she reponded a resounding yes!

Their October wedding day was filled with family and friends who had waited for this day to come.  The weather had a nip in the air as the couple and their good friends headed to the iconic Stone Arch Bridge of Minneapolis and then to the place where Sam attended school, the University of Minnesota. It was incredible!

It was a joy to spend the day with this couple (that I have been secretly waiting to get engaged!! I have seen them at 4 of the weddings in the last 2 years I have photographed!) They make anyone feel comfortable and like old friends.  I wish you both the best of luck as you enter into this amazing journey together!!
